Flint, a unique material that has been used by humans since prehistoric times. Not so much for making fire, but because it can be worked into various types of tools like no other material.
In Eijsden-Margraten lie the Netherlands' oldest traces of flint extraction from underground mines. During this walk, let yourself be surprised by the connection between the landscape and the extraction of this important raw material.
