There are so many wonderful things to see and experience on this route through the wetland landscape of De Alde Feanen National Park, which covers almost 4,000 hectares.

The route takes you through exceptionally beautiful countryside, interesting cultural environments and vibrant villages that are popular for water sports. Be sure to keep an eye out for the many birds in this area. Hundreds of species nest in De Alde Feanen National Park. If you are lucky, you may even spot a sea eagle!

You will also pass various rest stops, picnic tables and little terraces where you can stop and relax for a while.
