Description by the author

The route starts from the parking lot of swimming pool Mosaqua in Gulpen and you follow counterclockwise. The route goes from Gulpen first through western South Limburg, and that means climbs with height differences of up to 50 meters per climb that are unknown to many cyclists. Then the route enters the Voerstreek and calls at a piece of Land van Herve up to the Drielandenpunt. This often means longer climbs with height differences of 80 to 110 meters per climb interspersed with some short climbs (such as the unknown Kinkenberg). The route goes back to Gulpen through eastern South Limburg and that means a few more climbs with at most 35 meters of height difference per climb, to quickly get back to the starting point in Gulpen to be back before dark. The above means that the route follows the border between the Netherlands and Belgium between the extremely western Mesch and the eastern Vaals, where the border is sometimes just not crossed (Sippenaeken) and sometimes just (Schophemerheide).

In summary, you get the following climbs for the wheels:
Groenendalseberg
Bergenhuizen
Molenweg Banholt
Kalleberg
Nut
Kinkenberg (B)
Schophemerheide (B) or Kattenrothberg (in 2022 it was made fully paved)
Crutzberg (B) (via Koebeek, the lower part has worse asphalt)
The Planck (B)
Kasteelstraat (B)
Rue de Terstraten (B)
Chemin the Bone (B)
Côte des Trois Frontières (B)
Holset (via Ulengats)
Harles
Old Akerweg

Of course, the short closing easy climb (Oude Akerweg) can be exchanged for the steep Gulperberg from Partij!
