Very nice walk through Kerkrade with the nature reserve de Vrouwensiep and the Wormdal. First the ducks fly over you and then in the Worm Valley you have to chase away the damselflies and the dragonflies. Many birds and butterflies in this beautiful nature reserve, the highlight being the kingfishers. I haven't spotted the beaver yet, but its traces are clearly visible on the gnawed trees and shrubs next to the castle in the border river.
