This unique driving route takes you along the two beautiful vineyards that West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen has to offer. The route connects the vineyard ’t Biezenhof in Eede with the estate Elmare in the picturesque Waterlandkerkje. You drive through authentic landscapes, surrounded by untouched nature. You discover hidden gems, enjoy old polders and beautiful views, and become acquainted with our rich historical past. In short, a beautiful encounter with our magnificent hinterland.

West Zeeuws-Vlaanderen belongs to the Zwinstreek, a cross-border area in the municipalities of Sluis, Damme, Knokke-Heist, Maldegem, and Sint-Laureins. You undoubtedly know the Zwin as a nature reserve, where the tide flows freely, but it is more than that. Centuries ago, the Zwin was an arm of the sea that extended far inland and brought great prosperity to the municipalities that are now part of the Zwinstreek.
