Monastery tour Aarle-Rixtel

This monastery circular walk, which covers a distance of 13 kilometers, offers you the chance to explore the beautiful nature around the Mission Monastery of Holy Blood in Aarle-Rixtel. You depart from the beautiful monastery, followed by the enchanting monastery garden. From here you can look out over the fields where the sisters grew their food. The route takes you past various sights, including Monastery Castle Gemert, the St. John's Beheading Church, St. George's Chapel and the former Nazareth convent of the Franciscan Sisters of Oirschot.

This circular walk is 13 kilometres long and is plotted over the walking junction system in Brabant. Walk the route from one numbered junction to another. Between the junctions, follow the signposting of the walking junction system. At many junctions you will find a panel with a map of the walking route network, so that you can always deviate a bit from the route.
