The Kampina, whose name comes from the Latin Campina or Kempen, literally means “wild land.” The nature reserve is a piece of authentic Brabant nature, as it was in the past. The stunning area offers an abundance of opportunities for walking and cycling. The hiking route we have mapped out covers 17 kilometers and crosses the entire Kampina, but can be adjusted to personal preference.
