Die Kampina, deren Name vom lateinischen Campina oder Kempen stammt, bedeutet wörtlich „wildes Land“. Das Naturschutzgebiet ist ein Stück authentische Brabant-Natur, wie sie früher war. Das beeindruckende Gebiet bietet eine Fülle von Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Radfahren. Die von uns geplante Wanderroute umfasst 17 Kilometer und durchquert die gesamte Kampina, kann jedoch nach eigenen Vorlieben angepasst werden.
