This walking route takes you around the Reindersmeer in De Maasduinen. It is now delightful to walk around Well in North Limburg. But hardly twenty years ago, large container ships were coming and going here. The Reindersmeer is an artificial lake created by large-scale sand extraction. The lock from back then is now the gateway with a visitor center, located right in the middle of the National Park.
Ideal for children is the short variant: 4 kilometers, crossing with the ferry and finishing with the spacious nature playground. What more could you want as a child.
