During this hilly and panoramic walk, you first walk through the fields to the hamlet of Baneheide and then descend a rugged path along the German border to the hamlet of Mamelis. Then you climb through fields up to the church village of Vijlen and arrive at Auberge A gen Kirk for a break. Via a nice footpath, you descend to the hamlet of Melleschet and climb a footpath up to the edge of Hilleshagen. You descend through the meadows to Nijswiller and then climb up via a beautiful footpath to Baneheide. In the last part, you reach the hamlet of Bulkemsbroek and through a nice forest path, you return near the starting point. The descent to Mamelis can be very muddy after rainfall, so wear high hiking boots.
