Haren - Haren 2024 165 km definitive

The fantastic car-free routes of Haren-Haren pass through the unique Hondsrug area. The ice ages shaped ridges and valleys with prehistoric treasures. A landscape that is timeless. Since 2013, this area has been known as the Hondsrug UNESCO Geopark. The prehistoric people left us their treasures here. For thousands of years, people have shaped a landscape that is timeless.

You ride past heath fields, through forest areas, over cobblestones, over real hills, and between meadows. Everything that makes Groningen and Drenthe so beautiful! You can expect a relaxed atmosphere and excellent care along the way!

The cycling classic Haren-Haren will be held on Sunday, July 7, for the 11th time. Together with you, we want to make it a celebration again!

You have the choice of the following distances: 50 km, 105 km, and 165 km. For years, this ride has been rated with the quality mark 'Extra well organized' by the NTFU.

The 165 km is the ultimate challenge and crosses borders with a visit to Germany.

You will be welcomed like a hero upon your return, where you can chat on the square and enjoy music with a snack and a drink.
