Via this route you drive through the Zandenbos, a forest located between Nunspeet and Vierhouten. A small part you drive on the so-called 'tourist road', an asphalted road with the street names 'De Van Peterson Ramringweg' and 'Margaretha Boslaan' that offers various options for day recreation. From our starting location, you head towards junction 12 into the Zandenbos via the 'Van Peterson Ramringweg' and partially follow the so-called 'tourist road' through the forest up to junction 29. The route then leads along the former 'Waschkolk', where sheep used to be washed. Via various junctions, you head towards Vierhouten. Surrounding Vierhouten are four forests: the Elspeterbos, Gortelsebos, Vreebos, and Vierhouterbos. It is believed that the village, known for its many restaurants and the culinary event 'Rondje Vierhouten', owes its name to this. After leaving Vierhouten, you drive towards junction 14, continue the route by crossing the Elspeterweg further on towards the Stakenberg, a hill located on the heath between Nunspeet and Elspeet. Near the Stakenberg, there is a play meadow with a lookout tower. On your way to junction 72, you cross the Stakenbergweg towards junction 71 and continue straight on the Oude Leuvenumse path. Then you cross the Elspeterweg, keep left, and drive past Camping De Tol. This beautiful modern family campsite stands for old-fashioned coziness and a friendly atmosphere. The campsite features a heated outdoor swimming pool, a natural lake, and an indoor playground. In the cozy family restaurant of De Tol, you can enjoy delicious menus for the whole family. You will continue on the bike path parallel to the Elspeterweg and just after the wildlife fence, turn right towards the carpool and reach the endpoint (also the starting point) of this route, E-Chopper Huren Veluwe.
