Past castles to Wijk bij Duurstede vv

This is a beautiful hike through meadows and forests at any time of year. Along the way you will pass several castles and in Wijk bij Duurstede you will pass under the Rijn en Lek mill after 12 km (this is not the mill of painter Ruisdael). The rural roads have no sidewalks.

Public transport: stops of bus lines 50, 56 and 82 are located next to the departure point in the center of Doorn. Bus line 56 runs from Doorn to Wijk bij Duurstede vv Bus line 41 runs from the Kleidijk stop in Cothen to the center of Wijk bij Duurstede. This shortens the hike by one hour.
