On beautiful paths through the Savelsbos

How to get there: From Aachen city center, take Vaalser Straße towards the Dutch border. You stay on this road (N 278) for a few kilometers and pass several roundabouts and the towns of Lemiers, Nijswiller and Wahlwiller. At the intersection with the traffic lights (Wittem) there is a gas station on the left. Here you go straight ahead and through Gulpen towards Maastricht. Keep following this road, pass Margraten, the American cemetery and turn right at the sign “Cadier en Keer” (Vendelstraat). Don't mind the first street on the right. At the roundabout, turn right into Kerkstraat and start the walk at Café d'n Auwen Toewn opposite the church. There are parking spaces around the church.
Bus line 350 takes just under an hour from Aachen-Bushof to Cadier en Keer.
