This Then and Now board walk takes you with text and images from Fort Tienhoven along the Water Supply Canal and through the Bethunepolder, past tangible reminders of the New Dutch Waterline. Walk through the line landscape along a fort, a lock, group shelters, and inundation fields and experience the waterline! There is also a walking/cycling route of 14 km, along even more special places in this unique polder, where nature, living, farming, recreation, and water extraction go hand in hand. This is currently only available to follow online.
