From the Red Beech in Simpelveld, the path leads through the Hellingwald, the former monastery garden, also known as Calvary Hill. Here there is a grotto and a stations of the cross. The walk continues into the surroundings of Simpelveld with beautiful panoramas and blooming fields and farmlands. The Vrouwenheide mill, located on a high plateau, and in the valley the locomotive of the tourist train steams.
