This hiking route takes you over the Sint-Pietersberg and through the rolling Jekerdal, a special Natura 2000 area south of Maastricht. You follow the hiking junction network through a varied landscape with forests, grasslands, vineyards, and steep slopes along the Jeker. Along the way, you pass notable places such as Fort Sint Pieter, Villa Canne, and the Mergelweg with old quarries. A highlight is Château Neercanne, the only terraced castle in the Netherlands, with freely accessible gardens and a rich history.
