The route 'Salland around Luttenberg' is part of a series of eight routes around Nijverdal on the border of Salland and Twente. Each route runs between two stations and can therefore be walked as an independent tour. The routes are 20 to 24 km long and easily combined into multi-day hikes, with Nijverdal as the starting point. Each one offers beautiful walks through ancient cultural landscapes on the border of Salland and Twente.
The route described here runs from Nijverdal station via Luttenberg to Raalte station. There are catering facilities in Luttenberg along the way.
