The route 'Salland around Haarle' is part of a series of eight routes around Nijverdal on the border of Salland and Twente. Each route runs between two stations, making it easy to walk as an independent hike. The routes are 20 to 24 km long and can be easily combined into multi-day hikes, with Nijverdal as the base. Each walk offers stunning views through ancient cultural landscapes on the border of Salland and Twente.
The route described here runs from Raalte station via Haarle to Nijverdal station. Along the way, there is dining available in Haarle.
