A walk through the area of Vloeiweide near Rijsbergen.
The walk begins directly at the bridge over the Bijloop, where the Raamschoorseweg transitions into the unpaved Vuchtschootseweg. The walk is about 4 kilometers long and leads over easily walkable paths. Along the way, at the monument, there is a bench.
At the end of World War II, a drama unfolded around the forester's house of Forester Neefs.
In the early hours of October 4, 1944, a resistance radio post was attacked here by the occupiers. There is an information board at the monument. Every year, a memorial ceremony takes place on the first Sunday after October 4.
