This walk from Wolvega is surrounded by water. You will discover the catchment area of the Lende, polders, and forests. Take a short detour from the route to admire the Blessebrugschans as well. A defense structure from the time of the Eighty Years' War.

Dogs are not allowed on this route.
During the breeding season from March 15 to July 15, the section between junctions 57 and 58 is not accessible.

The marsh area of the Lende Valley

For this 9.4-kilometer walk, it is advisable to wear sturdy footwear. It can be swampy in the area that has transformed from farmland to marshland with reed fields, wet woodlands of black alder and willow, and flower-rich grasslands.
