Maasduinen Classic

What a beautiful and varied gravel route! Most of the route is pleasantly unpaved (gravel path/sandy path/forest trail), with a stretch of asphalt to catch your breath.
You’ll ride through the beautiful Maasduinen nature reserve, past fens and a lock, around Reindersmeer, along a stretch of the Maas, through woodland and past heathland, and over a short boardwalk.
An absolutely wonderful ride!

This route is suitable for gravel bikes and mountain bikes. If you have a regular e-bike, you’re better off taking the regular cycling route.

Starting point: Boscafé 't Rimpelt
Places to eat and drink along the way: the brasserie at the lock (at 14 km), Veronique gelato d'Italia (at 19 km), or the Wellsche Hut (at 33 km, with a short detour). Check opening hours in advance!
