Winding along the Keningsdjip
Start your cycling route at TOP Drachten and head south out of the village. Before long, wide-open fields stretch out before you. As you wind along the Alddjip (or Keningsdjip), the landscape becomes increasingly wooded. Ride through the beautiful De Slotplaats estate on your way to Bakkeveen. Be sure to stop here and climb the observation tower for lovely views of the surrounding area!
Then cycle back to Drachten via Frieschepalen and Ureterp.
