"By bike through the moor" is the Fietsactief Route 5 from 2007. This route leads through Scheerwolde, Muggenbeet, and the Netherlands across the Weerribben to Kalenberg and Ossenzijl. Here, on the northeast side of the Weerribben, we head back to Kalenberg and return to Steenwijk with generous detours via Steenwijkerwold.
