This is a combination of two marked hiking trails. From the TOP, follow the marking of the Voorne path. Then, from the intersection of Kade and Woudseweg, follow the stickers of the Strype path back to Brielle.
The route leads through the polder landscape of Brielle. You can also visit the city itself from the starting point. Brielle, the fifth largest city in the province of Holland during the Middle Ages, is an old fortified town and the most famous pilgrimage site in South Holland. The fortress of Brielle, mostly dating from the 17th century, is a national monument and one of the best-preserved defense works in the Netherlands.
