Molenvliet route

The route starts at TOP Haastrecht, from the TOP you can follow the Molenvlietroute borders.

A walk in search of forgotten traces of pumps and grinding in the northern Lopikerwaard, along old bosom quays and disappeared mill corridors. The route runs partly along the peat river "De Vlist". The river used to be used as a bosom for the polders and transport of goods. There are also a number of cheese farms along the route where the famous Gouda Farmer's Cheese is originally made in a traditional way. You can visit these and buy cheese.

Note! This walking route is not accessible during the breeding season (1 March to 1 July)
