The route starts at the TOP Noordwijk, here you can also park your car. From the TOP, follow the wooden posts with green heads through the dunes of Noordwijk. The (literal) highlight of the route is the viewpoint kachelduin.

On the Kachelduin there used to be a forester's house with a stove and a chimney. Hence the name "Kachelduin". From the 18 m high dune top you have a fantastic view over the sea elm and the Noordduinen that is part of "Het Hollands Duin" of Staatsbosbeheer. Sheltered forests, open plains and wet dune valleys alternate.
