Haarzuilens Route

The route is largely identical to the "Haarzuilens Route". The Haarzuilens Route takes you from Vleuten train station through Harmelen, Putkop, Kockengen, and Haarzuilens back to the train station in Vleuten. Along the way, you pass the nature reserve Het Vijverbos. You cycle over the Hollandse Kade through the meadows. You will pass by the recreation area de Grutto. The Kockengse Mill can be seen from the route. Towards the end of the route, you will pass by the spectacular De Haar Castle near the beautiful village of Haarzuilens. All in all, a very beautiful route.

UPDATE: After all these years, it is time for an update. Recently, a few new recreational cycling paths have been added. These have now been incorporated into the route. The fantastic Lint in Maximapark is now part of the route for a stretch. A few loops have been added, but as you can see on the map, you can easily shorten them if you wish to shorten the route.
