The Fortenland canoe route is 22 km long and takes about 7 hours. As starting points you can choose the Keetpoortsluis or Jachthaven Weesp.

This route is signposted in two directions with hexagonal signs. The Fortenland canoe route takes you through the history of the New Dutch Waterline, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will sail past the Muizenfort (Muiden), Fort Ossenmarkt (Weesp), Fort Uitermeer (Weesp) and Vestingstad Naarden.
