Spread through the Gooi & Vecht region you will find 7 beautiful, signposted canoe routes, each with their own characteristics. The New Dutch Water Line canoe route over the Vecht offers the possibility to connect these routes with each other.
With this route you follow the river Vecht, also referred to as the most beautiful river in the Netherlands. Because in addition to many forts, you will also see historic castles, monumental country estates from the 17th and 18th centuries, windmills and sail through picturesque Vecht villages such as Vreeland, Loenen aan de Vecht and Breukelen.
