Mookerhei, Sint Jansberg and Plasmolen

Circular walk through the beautiful nature reserve in the moraine, which runs from Nijmegen to Kleve (Dld). The walk starts from Plasmolen and goes through the forest area the Sint Jansberg, the Kiekberg and over the Mookerheide.
The walk goes on beautiful forest paths, along winding streams, through natural meadows and through the Mookerhei. All this with a lot of variety and a number of beautiful viewpoints.
During the walk you will also come to the Roman Villa, the Ice Cellar and the water mill.

Characteristic are the many chestnut trees in the primeval forests. The route is largely on (sandy) paths.
The height differences on the moraine make for a tough walk with quite a few altimeters.

There are benches at various places along the route and there are various catering establishments at the start and end point.

Start at parking lot along the N271 in Plasmolen opposite Rijksweg 301 - 303. Parking is also possible in the parking lot at the Witteweg in Plasmolen
