Glory Beek and the Teufelsberg Hill in Dal

A beautiful hiking route through the motes in the forest area between Beek and Berg en Dal. The circular hike mostly runs along sandy paths through the primeval forest. The forests are almost entirely made up of deciduous trees, including many chestnut and beech trees. This quite challenging route goes through the motes and is therefore rather hilly with some steep climbs. At some points, there are beautiful views of, among other things, the Élysée fields, the Ooijpolder, and the Veluwezoom. Characteristic is the small church in Persingen in the Ooijpolder, which can be seen from several viewpoints. It is a beautiful hike both in summer and winter. Either under a canopy of leaves or through open forests. There are benches in many places, and there are various food businesses. The hike begins at the parking lot at Alte Kleefsebaan in Berg en Dal. Other starting points with parking lots are at Alte Kleefsebaan 116 (opposite Tivoli Park) in Berg en Dal or at the pancake restaurant De Duivelsberg, Duivelsberg 1 in Berg en Dal.
