Welcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Vaals. This route takes you right through Vijlenerbos.
This area is more than worth a visit. You have some beautiful views over the Geuldal. You will discover why everyone in Limburg and the Netherlands is so proud of South Limburg! The landscape here is un-Dutch! In nearby Camerig you will find the nationally known ice cream farmer Wingbergerhoeve.
You can also get a nice cup of coffee on the terrace at restaurant Buitenlust or boscafé het Hijgend Hert. Here you can also easily park.
The route can be followed via the wooden SBB posts with blue heads.
