Walking past old farms, villas, churches and monuments, you will read about the old traditions and customs of both the original population of Laren and the 'newcomers' in Laren. The 'newcomers' are painters, writers and commuters from busy cities who discovered the formerly remote farming village of Laren from 1870 onwards.
