Description by the author

Via Koningslust and Maasbree you cycle to Blerick. After crossing the Meuse you cycle over the Jammerdaalsche Heide (where it is already slightly uphill). Then it goes via the Venloer Heide and you pass the border with Germany. You cycle along Schloß Krickenbeck (watch out for hikers!) towards the village of Hinsbeck. In Hinsbeck there is a ridge that you climb via the Oberstraße with a maximum of 10% ascent! Then the light descends through the woods to Herongen. At Herongen there is a ridge over which you get two climbs. Via German wirtschaftswegen (roads closed to car traffic with the exception of agricultural traffic) you enter the Netherlands again, to the village of Schandelo. Via Hasselderheide it goes to the ferry Velden - Grubbenvorst. And then via Sevenum, Helenaveen and Neerkant back to Heusden.
