This cycle route (16 km) can possibly be completed in two parts, since we pass the Brink halfway again. As the villas are privately owned, please do not enter the gardens and driveways and respect the privacy of the residents.

This cycle route leads you past a large number of villas that the architect Wouter Hamdorff built in Laren. During the route you will get a good idea of the architectural style with which Wouter Hamdorff became so famous, 'the Gooise Landhuis style'. The Larense architect not only had a well-known name locally - he was the nephew of the well-known hotelier Jan Hamdorff - but during his career he built up a good reputation both nationally and internationally.
