Chapel route through Eijsden-Margraten (derived)

The Catholic south is known for its many road crosses and field chapels. From small private chapels to large devotional and funerary chapels. This chapel cycle route takes you along a large collection of the many chapels in the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten. A beautiful, as much as possible car-free route. You will also learn a bit about the history and stories of the (surprisingly) many (sometimes disappeared) chapels and chapels that the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten houses. It is a solid, but beautiful route, which is also good to cycle for older children (from about 10 years old; albeit with perhaps an occasional push). The route is mainly on paved roads, but occasionally takes an unpaved field road, which are easily accessible with a regular bicycle. The route is over 67 km long, but very surprising. So grease the calves well and kick them. And with an e-bike, this route is certainly doable! Happy cycling and culture!
