AzureA beautiful walk through picturesque Loenen, the 'Pearl of the Vecht region', along 19 signs with historical photos and texts. If you read the sign you will be in the same place as the photographer or painter of the time, so you get a nice picture of how different (or not!) it used to be. You will pass dozens of monuments, cozy terraces, shops and beautifully maintained gardens. On Saturdays you can visit the flour mill and a visit to the Mijndense lock with curio shop is a party every summer day! Have fun hiking through the more than 1000 year old Loenen!
