The 29-kilometre-long cycle route leads over the northernmost part of the Brabantse Wal. While cycling you drive through forests, along forest edges and open polder landscapes. Three Marian chapels are included in the route. The cycle route starts in Bergen op Zoom and goes through Halsteren and Lepelstraat.

The Brabantse wal is located along the border of West Brabant with Zeeland.
The high forest-covered sandy soils here merge into the lower sea clay polders.
The most striking is the steep edge, a monument of geologic value.
The steep edge winds from Ossendrecht past Hoogerheide, Woensdrecht and Bergen op Zoom to
Steenbergen.
