From the hilly landscape of Maastricht to Maasbracht, the Meuse meanders over shallow gravel banks, fast-flowing and virtually unnavigable. On this page you will find the South Limburg route of the Meuse Cycle Route from Maastricht to Roermond. The route will amaze you and is more than worth it. The route can be followed in the Netherlands on the basis of the special Maas route signs.

The total route of the Meuse Cycle Route is of course many times longer. The International Meuse Cycle Route is a great challenge for the more or less experienced cyclist. From the plateau of Langres to Hoek van Holland, you can discover the Meuse as you have never seen before. Go out, cycle through three countries via a total of 30 stages and 1,152 km of signposted roads, discovering dozens of cities, towns and villages along the entire route.
