Klein Hartje van Brabant, Het 8-je van de Hoevens

>During the preparatory activities for the large "Hart van Brabantpad" (for further information, see: here)
we saw the attractiveness of this area and decided to dedicate a circular walk to it as well.

Because of the double loop we chose the name "Het 8-je van De Hoevens".

Where do you pass or pass on this 12 or 6 km walk?
> Estate De Hoevens that is intersected by beautiful beech and oak avenues.
> De Paapenmoeren, a swampy area that was part of monastery possessions centuries ago.
> A boardwalk that helps you to get through this swamp with dry feet.
> Het Ooievaarsnest that forms the connection with adjacent nature reserves such as Regte Heide, Nieuwkerk, Gorp and Roovert.
>The birdwatching hut "Tapsmoer" on the edge of the Riels Laag.
>A restored burial mound with information column
>In short, you walk through an area full of variety where you can see the Brabant of the past.

The entire route is also easy to follow through the junctions: 95-43-58-57-42-53-54-55-51-52-40-42-96-95

If the legs ask for a shorter distance today, you can shorten the entire trip to 5.6 km by choosing the route via knp 96 to the starting point 95 at knp 42.
