MTB Anloo

This route leads through the Boswachterij Anloo and over the Balloërveld, among other places. Along the route, you will encounter burial mounds. These hills are protected archaeological monuments.
The route consists of sandy paths and single tracks as well as sections on paved and semi-paved roads.
From Balloo, you bike along field paths towards Loon. From Loon, it goes directly to Taarlo, making a large loop around Taarlo towards Balloërveld.
Then you cross the road and continue the route through the Balloërveld towards Gasteren. Through Gasteren and then turn left onto the public road, shortly after leaving Gasteren, turn right along the Ubinksbos and then over a single track through a forest edge towards Anloo, where you cycle through the village center for a bit.
Then continue the path towards Eext, where you cycle through a beautiful forest area. Afterwards, the route leads towards Anderen. After a while, you will reach a route where the train from Assen to Stadskanaal used to run. Then head towards Balloo to return to the starting point.
