The route through the Valtherbos is definitely less challenging than the one through the Emmerdennen. The trail mostly runs along long, straight, wide cart paths and primarily follows the edge of the forest in the first section. In the last part, there are a few technical paths. The endpoint of this route is also not marked, so you need to pay close attention to rejoin the connecting path at the right time.
