Near the elegant Haren lies the Oosterpolder. A surprising area where you can hike wonderfully. You will walk alongside rugged vegetation, where you can encounter deer, among other things. In winter, the polder is mostly underwater, after which the meadow birds find their food there in spring. Don't forget to take a look at the bird observation wall and the former duck catching station.
