The meadow grasshopper and the special little chirper are regular guests in this hiking area. It's not surprising when you consider that the nature reserve De Gaast is regularly flooded. Thanks to all this water, the region also offers special flora such as cuckoo flowers and true buttercups. This hiking route is enough to provide you with hours of fascination with the beautiful nature in the municipality of Bellingwedde in Groningen.
