This hiking trail leads through the river landscapes of the Westerwoldser Aa. Keep this in mind when choosing your shoes. Especially in autumn and winter, it can be quite wet. To give the birds enough space, the grass is mowed once a year after the breeding season. This greatly benefits the diverse flora and fauna. At the end of the path, you should cross the characteristic pedestrian bridge of the Wedderburcht, which is worth a visit!
