This hiking trail runs along the border with Germany. Nevertheless, the walk radiates a very special tranquility, typical for Groningen. You walk through beautiful natural areas and along the Ruiten-Aa canal. While you hike, you can admire the Hasseberg in the distance. This mountain is the highest point in the Netherlands in the province of Groningen, even though it is only 14.2 meters above sea level.
