A extensive hike that starts in Wedde, with its Wedderborg, the oldest parts of which date back to the 14th century. The Borg has a glorious history, and so does the Geselberg, which you will pass. Here, judgments were enforced until 1803. Legend has it that an underground passage leads from the castle to this place. You will walk through stream valleys and a remnant of an old forest. Also noteworthy is the essence village of Smeerling, which has been a listed building since 1972.
