The Noordlaarderwald (Groninger) and De Vijftig Bunder (Drentser) are located at the transition between the Hondsrug and the valley of the Drentse Aa. It is an ancient area with a rich history. During this walk, you will see, among other things, a gallows hill, burial mounds, a horse cart path, and a trench used by armored troops.
