In summer, Jipsingbourtange is a true tourist attraction. The number of tourists exceeds the population by 150 times during the summer months. They are primarily seeking peace and quiet. This can be found in the forests of the strip village. Animals also enjoy themselves here. One can encounter buzzards and deer there. Additionally, honey is sold. Bees are called 'iemen' in Gronings.
